Introduction

I have chosen IW engine and RPG makers as I like the games that have been produced with both programs. I have personally used RPG maker at home to create a small game and I enjoyed the engine as a whole.

History of Game Engines:

A game engine is software that aids the developer in creating and developing video games. They can be used to make games for consoles, mobiles and computers. Before game engines were invented games were made for a single entities such as the Atari 2600 and had to be designed from the bottom up to make optimal use of the display hardware.
